As a research technician in the Arens lab I am involved in projects targeted to examine the underlying mechanisms of immunity and vaccines against (chronic) infections and malignancies. For this, I use molecular and cellular techniques to analyze cell-mediated immune responses.
I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree at AVANS university of applied sciences, during which I performed a research internship at Erasmus MC Rotterdam, investigating prognostic factors of uveal melanoma. After my bachelor I obtained my Master of Science degree in Medical Biology at Radboud University Nijmegen. I performed research internships at the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS) and at the department Pathology at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). Currently, I am a research technician at the group of Ramon Arens.
