Our research encompasses investigating diseases such as celiac disease and inflammatory bowel disease, employing systems immunology approaches to study human disease, and conducting fundamental studies on the development of the intestinal immune system. By integrating advanced single-cell and spatial technologies with three-dimensional in vitro models, we aim to uncover the cellular mechanisms underlying these chronic conditions, with the goal of translating our findings into improved diagnostics and therapies.
About the Mucosal Immunology Group
