Research
As a senior research technician and lab manager in the Arens group I’m involved in several different immunology projects. These projects include a) investigating the effect of chemotherapeutics on the immune system, b) developing vaccines that elicit T cells and antibodies against cytomegalovirus (CMV) and SARS-CoV-2, and c) understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of cancer immunotherapy.
Curriculum vitae
In 2001 I finished my laboratory college education in Rotterdam. After an internship at the Erasmus Medical Center Rotterdam at the department of Surgery, I started working in the Tumor Immunology group of the department of Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion at the LUMC. Since 2011 I’m working as a senior research technician / lab manager in the group of Ramon Arens.
