RESEARCH
Healthcare has always been a topic I am passionate about. Throughout my scientific career, I have studied the mechanisms of the human immune system in response to bacterial challenges and systemic diseases. My projects have primarily aimed to enhance our understanding of the immune system and support research into novel therapeutics.
Since 2022, I have been excited to pursue this goal as a regulatory officer in Prof. Staal's group at LUMC. In this role, I provide regulatory support for the preparatory and execution phases of gene therapy projects, focusing on the RAG1 and RAG2 gene therapy clinical trials, which aim to develop innovative treatments for patients with RAG1 or RAG2 immunodeficiency.
