Curriculum vitae

In 1985, I graduated as a technician in clinical chemistry at the HLO Rotterdam. Ever since I have been working in various laboratories at the LUMC. Starting in the field of Hemostasis and Thrombosis, a combined research and diagnostic position, I took an interest in Molecular Genetics and worked in the laboratory for diagnostics of hereditary familial diseases (now developed to the Laboratory of Diagnostic Genome Analysis). Via various leading technician positions in different laboratories, I am working as a project manager at the HLA laboratory since 2019. Projects vary from organizational as rebuilding the laboratory, educational, to quality aspects.
